Holi - Indian Festival of Colors


You are invited to a fun-filled, family day to celebrate the seventh Indian festival:   "Holi – Festival of Colors"  at Birmingham Museum of Arts. Saturday,


When:   Saturday, March 11, 2017. from 11 p.m. – 3 p.m. There will be lots of performances, storytelling, arts/crafts, food trucks, snacks, classical Indian and Bollywood style dancing, music, gallery exploration, and the best – PLAYING WITH COLORS at 2:45 pm in the BMA parking lot.  This involves the throwing of powdered colors, a traditional part of Holi celebrations. Make sure to wear something you don’t mind having to wash!


The event is FREE and OPEN to the public. Please come and invite your friends, family, and neighbors.

Every year we have a very large turnout – so please come a bit early for parking. Programs will start SHARP at 11 a.m.
