Alabama Asian Cultures Foundation

  • Incorporated in the state of Alabama in May of 2005 with the purpose of "raising and receiving funds to construct and maintain a Chinese Garden/Asian Cultural Center in the Birmingham metropolitan area".
  • Approved as a 501(c)(3) public charity by the I.R.S. on March 22, 2006, under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, with contributions allowed as deductible on federal income taxes under Section 170.  The Foundation is also approved to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers, or gifts under sections 2055, 2106, or 2522 of the Code.
